    I am very glad that you have taken the time to visit City of Light Family Church AG (CLFC) website. On behalf of the entire church family, we welcome you, and we hope you will find your search for the true and living God here. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of people from all walks of life through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    CLFC's tagline is "At Home with God." In Psalm 27:4, David said, “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

    David’s greatest desire is to dwell in the house or to be at home with the Lord. Home is where shelter and security are; it is a place for building and belonging; it is a place of rest. The church is the house of God and the home for God’s people. CLFC exists to fulfill this purpose.

    David’s desire to dwell in the house of the Lord was so intense that he exclaimed he wanted to do it all the days of his life. It seems that the Lord’s house is the best place, and nothing could compare with it. Many times, I would say to my congregation, “There is no better place to be found on a Sunday morning than in the house of the Lord.” This is so true! At CLFC, we keep the Sabbath rest zealously; therefore, going to church on Sunday is taken seriously.

    David’s reason for his desire to dwell in the house of the Lord is to gaze on His beauty and to seek His face. When I first met my wife, I could not take my eyes away from her. Whenever I saw her, my eyes would inevitably turn to look at her. It is so satisfying to look at her in church. This is the atmosphere at CLFC, where the people are not merely congregants but beloved of God. It is a place for people to fall in love with God week in and week out.

    As I mentioned earlier, you came here by the leading of the Spirit. The next thing to do is to ask yourself, “Is the Spirit leading me to go to CLFC?” If there is a prompting, we invite you to come and visit us because all who are guided by God’s Spirit are God’s children.
